USCRIF DESIGNATES INDIA AS 'CPC' OVER "RELIGIOUS FREEDOM VIOLATIONS"

THERE IS A DANGER OF ECONOMIC SANTIONS ON INDIA ,

US Commission on International Freedom is a bipartisian independent federal government commission,created by International Religious Freedom,Act of 1998.US Government Doesn't Interfere in making of this report.After the forming and recommendation the Goverment can take action against it.

                                                    

                                                                                                             SIGNIFICANCE OF THE REPORT

In its annual Report ,USCRIF describes threats to religious freedom around the world and recommends to the State Department Countries for Designation as"countries Of Particular Concern "
(CPC s) for engaging in or tolerating 'systematic,onging ,violations'

       

USCRIF also recommends to the State Department that non-state actors cited for similarly severe violations be designated as 'entities of particular concern'(EPC )

USCRIF Recommends 14 countries including india ,for designation as 'Countries Of Particular Concern'

These includes 9 nations that the State Department designated as CPCs in December 2019-Myanmar,China,Eritrea,Iran,North Korea ,Pakistan,Saudi Arabia,Tajikistan,and Turkmenistan-as well as five other -india ,Nigeria ,Russia ,Syria,and Vietnam ,US commision for International Religious Freedom (USCRIF) said its annual report on Tuesday.

After 2004 ,first time india came in this list.

And now this will go to US congress and President, and if President wants they can put santions on these countries or they can ban travel of particular political leader.
